There will be another student seminar, followed by a going away party for everyone in the department that is leaving this summer. These events will happen in ITB 201 starting at 2:30 PM.
For the seminar, Moni will discuss "Data and Dimension Repair for Multidimensional ontologies by record deletion". For the party happening afterwards, there will be music, snacks, and beverages along with some other surprises! Come by to see off some of the PhD and Masters students leaving this term.

Effective Resume Writing and Job Search Strategies
Adam will be presenting on How to Write a Resume That Stands Out. The presentation will cover how best to highlight your skills and experience, so it captures the attention of HR and hiring managers. He'll also touch briefly on effective job search strategies.
Just a friendly reminder that the March student seminar will be happening TOMORROW, come join us for two talks and food/coffee. Immediately afterwards we will be heading up to University Plaza for an hour or two of bowling, completely covered by LiCS.
For bowling, we will meet in the 1st floor lobby of ITB around 3:45 and then proceed up to University Lanes. Feel free to meet us at the alley if you wont make it for the seminar!

Welcome New and Returning Graduate Students!
We will be hosting the first installment for the new school year of our recurring Student Seminar Series. In these hour-long sessions we invite fellow ITB graduate students to give a short talk (15 minutes or less) on a CS, SE or other Science and Engineering topic of their choice. All are welcome to attend and participate in these events and refreshments will be provided.
This month's seminar will be followed by a Hike-n-Pint at the Phoenix!
We will be having another LICS graduate seminar August 17th, 2017 in ITB 201 from 2:30 - 3:30. Refreshments will be provided! Our speakers will be Spencer Park and Nicholas Moore.
Following the seminar, you are welcome to join us for Bowling at University Lanes from 4:30 - 6:00! Admission and shoe rentals are free, though no outside food or drink is allowed in the bowling alley. University Lanes is located at University Plaza, a short bus ride from Campus.
Join us for our first ever Undergraduate Research Night! There will be talks by some of this year's summer undergraduate research students. Presenters will have 10-15 minutes to talk about the research that they and their research groups have been working on over the summer.
All are welcome to come and listen. Food will be provided.
